It was one of those extreme makeover shows and they built a standalone garage on the property and then added on a rooftop barbeque and tv viewing area on it. Since it was built to be strong enough to hold up to 200 people up there, there was plenty of space and support for a shaded area too. It was a very elaborate add on that’s for sure.
I wonder if I could put up a roof pergola at the back of my house. I am pretty sure it is strong enough and since it’s flat up there, it should be easy enough to adapt. I’m not sure if I would put a barbeque up there but some lawn chairs would be nice for the views.
